I have attached my drawing, such as it is, if you want to see - it originated as a PDF file from an architect, which I extracted into Inkscape, scaled up to real measures, then added extra bits and finally the outline in garish colours. I could of course join all the lines together to form a single object, but FreeCAD then draws the whole house as one wall of the same thickness and so on, which is not what I want. This I will import into FreeCAD and use as the base lines on which to construct walls and so on.

I'm working on drawing up the ground plan of a house, which I have in one layer, and in a separate layer I draw, in thick, differently coloured lines, an outline of the wallls, which I then want to export to a separate svg file. Is there a way to simply export the whole layer to one. A simple frame based animation can be achieved by placing each frame into a separate layer, and then exporting all layers and combining them into a sprite sheet. Select all (ctrl A) layer menu> move object to layer>layer 1. Sorry if this sounds like a rehash of, but I tried inx-exportobjects v0.2 and it seems to insist on exporting all individual objects into separate files, even when I create a group. WPLauncher Open a new document in inkscape and import the svg file that you want to separate.
